Happy New Year! I'm all buckled and buddled up for my car ride to school after the holiday break. I'm excited to see my teachers Ms. Holly, Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Melissa and all my lil fiddler friends at the Goddard School.

Tara Time

For nine great months, Tara came nearly every week to visit Conner and observe his development. We really looked forward to her visits! Here's our Little Fiddler showing off a new toy from his friends next door. He's getting so big and smart so fast.

Here's Conner learning to wave in Yo-semite. Ten of us shared a mountain house and visited Bass Lake, Yosemite Falls and hiked/strolled around town. It was a great summer break with family!

Tulsa Time

Conner took his first plane trip to visit his friends and family in Tulsa, OK last week. He rose to the occasion of traveling five hours each way, sleeping in a new bed and sitting patiently in a new car seat. About 25 family members got to meet the lil guy. He had a blast! We went to the Adkison's 50th Anniversary party, met for lunch, dinner, breakfast all over town and the highlight was hanging out with Uncle Buzzy's jack ass and horses. Hee Haw!

Lil Zook @ the ZOO

Lil Zook visited his fellow mammals with his friends Gavin and Olive at the LA Zoo. It was perfect weather for a picnic and strolling around. We saw the new baby giraffe, elephants, monkeys, birds and big kitty cats. We look forward to our next Zook Zoo adventure! Rrrrrrrrraw!

Who's your Donkey?

Who knows which Donkey to vote for? I mean, really! Who's the best candidate to clean up our homeland security, economy, housing crisis, education, healthcare, jobs. I discuss these things with Baby Z and he ponders it all. Since Conner's guess is as good as mine at this point I took him with me to Vote. He helped me punch the ballot and then we went to coffee and talked politics. And he fell asleep.

For Valentine's Day we took our first family vacation up to relaxing Ojai, CA. Dad Z hit some golf balls, Mama Z indulged in a very necessary massage and Baby Z strolled all over town seeing, feeling and hearing his new world.

He's just one day old. There are really no words. Oh...what a feeling! He was born 6lbs and 20inches at 7:30am. I went into labor at 5:30am and wham bam, thank you Dr. Ma'am who did an emergency C-section. He's a few weeks early and came in a hurry. Perhaps he has "things to do" and "people to see". Because of his size, we just started calling him our "Little".
